Solved – cannot config interface vlan on switch cisco
1./ Problems encountered
When you want to configure a vlan interface [X] for example vlan 1
VLAN interface 1
But the switch gives an error that the statement is not accepted.
2./ Handling the problem
The above error is because you have not enabled the vlan feature on the cisco switch
Step 1: configure terminal
Step 2: feature interface-vlan
Step 3: VLAN interface 1
You can then configure anything on the vlan 1 . interface
