Prerequisites
Hệ điều hành Ubuntu 16 hoặc Ubuntu 18.
cài đặt các gói update, upgrade
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
Install Smokeping
apt-get install smokeping
Cần web server và mail server để hiển thị web admin, và gửi thông báo.
apt-get install apache2 sendmail
Once Apache is installed enable the CGI module
a2enmod cgi
and restart the web server for the changes to take effect
service apache2 restart
Sau khi cài đặt thành công bạn có thể truy cập link dưới, thay IP bằng IP server của bạn: http://IP_Address/smokeping/smokeping.cgi
2/ Configure Smokeping
Thư mục cài đặt config.d
cd /etc/smokeping/config.d
vi /opt/smokeping/etc/config
Trong mục General thay thế bằng các thông tin của bạn
nano General
owner = Your Name
contact = [email protected]
mailhost = localhost
cgiurl = http://10.0.1.1/smokeping.cgi
save the file and exit.
Smokeping comes with the ability to write your own Alert rules and smokeping will email you when a rule is triggered. To add custom rules, edit the ‘Alerts’ file, modify the ‘to’ and ‘from’ lines.
and add your custom alerts as described in the example given in the file.
Next, edit the ‘Targets’ and apply the rules to the servers you want to monitor. For example:
nano Targets
+ Server
menu = ServerInHaNoi
title = ServerInHaNoi
++ Server1
menu = Fixloinhanh.com
title = Web server
host = cloudx.com.vn
++ Server1
menu = mail.cloudx.com.vn
title = mail server
host = mail.cloudx.com.vn
Save the file and restart Smokeping for the changes to take effect.
systemctl restart smokeping
Link access web
http://10.1.1.1/smokeping/smokeping.cgi?
Lưu ý:
Nếu gặp lỗi
No such file or directory at /opt/smokeping/bin/../lib/Smokeping/RRDhelpers.pm line 36.
Cannot open file abc.rrd
Thì xử lý bằng cách restart service smokeping
